What is a Diaper Cake?

A diaper cake is a unique gift that is a wonderful alternative to a traditional gift basket.  The perfect gift for the new mom and dad-to-be.  Not only does it look great as a beautiful centerpiece at a baby shower, a diaper cake is also a very practical gift to celebrate a baby's birth, baptism or 1st birthday.  A diaper cake makes a great group gift for a fellow employee or friend.

Fully usable, our diaper cakes consist of top quality, new items - generic diapers and items are never used.  Our diaper cakes sit on a sturdy, silver coloured cardboard plate and hold anywhere from 40-60 disposable diapers which are carefully assembled into a lovely tiered cake, tied and decorated with ribbon.  We then tuck in useful baby items for the new baby or simply add silk flowers, if you so desire.  The cake is then topped with a gift such as a teddy bear or beautiful silk flowers.  It is then wrapped in clear cellophane and tied off with more ribbon.  Your cake will come ready to give to the new parents and baby.  You also have the option of including a small gift card with a custom message from you!

Diaper cakes come in two sizes - 2 or 3 tiers.  A 2 tier diaper cake holds 40 diapers and a 3 tier diaper cake holds 60 diapers.  Diapers are Stage 1 Pampers or Huggies.

All of our cakes are handmade in a smoke-free and pet-free environment. No glue, tape, rubber bands or staples are used in the construction of our diaper cakes.
